Established in 1978, we were originally located in Bristol, before moving to our present location at Stonehouse in Gloucestershire.
During this time manufacturing and its related industries in the UK has seen considerable change, with a greater emphasis on price, quality assurance and ex-stock deliveries.
A major part of our success over the years has been our ability to adapt to these changes, keeping pace with our customer needs. This has been achieved by continual investment in stock, processing systems and a quality assured control system, ensuring we continue to offer our customers the very best products and service.

Established in September 1978, Taybroh Alloys & Stainless Steels Ltd is a family run business that has been supplying customers for nearly 40 years. Since trading began in March 1979, continued expansion led Taybroh Alloys to move from its small unit in Bristol to larger premises in Almondsbury, just north of Bristol, just 3 years later in 1982.
In 1987, Andrew Bealing took on the role as Managing Director having joined the company in 1980 as Sales Director. Andrew grew the company, with the ambition of providing a best in class, independent and expert service, combined with quality and relevant products to Taybroh Alloy’s customers across the South West and Wales.
In 1988, we moved again, this time to a larger warehouse in Eastington, Gloucestershire to accommodate the continued growth in our loyal customer base. We have achieved this by better serving our customers needs through a greater emphasis on investing in stock, competitive pricing, rigorous quality assurance and a unique ability to adapt to changes in the market place.
During 1992 Taybroh Alloys were proud to receive the Lloyds Registered Approved Stockist to ISO 9001. With this quality assurance system, and the ability to enhance its duplex and super duplex product range, Taybroh Alloys were able to develop their business into the oil and gas industry.
In 1997, Paul Bealing was appointed Sales Director with the objective of broadening Taybroh Alloys relationships with its customers. This involved expanding the range of products and services we could offer. Over the next 5 years we had achieved our first £1M account and had seen our turnover grow by 90%. All a testament to the value that Taybroh Alloys can bring through collaborating with our customers to provide the best possible experience.
Investing and anticipating change has been a core part of Taybroh’s success over the years, and in April 2007, we invested in a bespoke stockholding programme which has enabled us to adapt to changing purchase patterns. Today we still have a unique ability to check stock, account history and process orders for a customer all at the touch of a button; enhancing the overall experience of dealing with us.
